Dr. Graziani graduated from LaSalle University with a B.A. in Biology and received her M.D. Degree from Jefferson Medical College. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has been a practicing physician for more than 20 years with specialty interests in spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, and other neurologic disorders. An Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Graziani has published numerous articles, contributed to many books, and given a variety of lectures on topics ranging from spinal cord injuries to diabetes. She received a Clinical Investigator Development Award from the National Institutes of Health for research on rehabilitation after spinal cord injury.

Deciding that patients needed an advocate, she earned a law degree, graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctorate from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law. Dr. Graziani is now a sought-after expert in the medical and legal aspects of medical malpractice and catastrophic injuries. She co-instructs “Anatomy for Litigators” to law students at Temple University’s School of Law and also co-instructs the award-winning Continuing Legal Education Series “Medicine and the Law” for attorneys. Dr. Graziani has presented at numerous legal conferences, including the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Conference “The Catastrophic Injury Case: Quadriplegia, Paraplegia, and Spinal Injury Cases.”

Virginia now combines her in-depth medical knowledge with her legal training and experience to advocate for her clients.
