Here at McLaughlin & Lauricella we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 / Coronavirus situation.
The firm remains fully operational through our remote, online capabilities. This technology allows us to maintain our regular business hours and to provide ongoing attention to client cases with little or no disruption, including new client inquires.
Many Courts have scaled back operations considerably. Trials, Hearings, and Court Conferences are all being postponed (for only a few weeks at present), but depending on circumstances, those delays may continue for the foreseeable future. However, online Court filings continue, and virtual depositions are being conducted by many court reporting services, so cases are still moving forward. If scheduled events in your case are going to be delayed, we will reach out and let you know when we receive that information. Rest assured that any adjournments or cancellations will be rescheduled.
As the Coronavirus situation continues to play out, we want to assure you that we are fully functional and continuing to advocate for you. For the health and safety of our employees, however, the attorneys and staff are working remotely from their homes. All employees have online, remote access to the firm’s computer network, email program, and case management system.
We remain available to speak with you by telephone, or to correspond with you by email, and you should feel free to contact us. Our receptionist continues to answer firm’s main phone lines personally from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
